Caller ID
Mobile telephone numbers may now
be displayed on landline and wireless phones
equipped with the Caller ID service feature. To
safeguard your privacy, the following options are
available:
Complete
Blocking
You may request this option by
calling Cellnet Customer Service at *611.
Complete Blocking will automatically prevent your
mobile number from being shown to Caller ID
subscribers. If you would like to transmit your
mobile number to a Caller ID subscriber on a
per-call basis, you may add *82 before the phone
number when you place a call. For example, *82-Area
Code-555-5555, SEND.
Selective
Blocking
This option is automatically
added to your service unless you select Complete
Blocking. Selective Blocking allows Caller ID
subscribers to see your mobile number unless you
block it by including *67 before the phone number
when you place a call. For example, *67-Area
Code-555-5555, SEND.
PIN
Protection
Your service is automatically
protected from cloning and unauthorized use by an
advanced security feature. However, a Personal
Identification Number (PIN) may still be required
while traveling outside your home coverage area. If
you are required to use a PIN: Enter the phone
number you are calling and press SEND. When you
hear the double ring signal, enter your four-digit
PIN and press SEND to complete your call.
*Applicable airtime, local toll, roaming, landline
access and long distance charges may apply to some
or all of the above features.
