The iPaq 914 PDAphone finally arrived!

iPaq 914The iPaq 914 PDAphone Business Messenger was introduced in October last year on various shows. Hewlett Packard has announced 8 months later (almost a product cycle in the world of telephony) the marketing of this iPaq 914 scheduled for July.
Fortunately, the retail version will be slightly updated from the version seen.

Mio announces GPS PDAPhone K1 Leap

PDAPhone K1 LeapMio took advantage of the show Computex in Taiwan to formally present his PDA Phone GPS K1 Leap. As the Samsung F300, the K1 million Leap has a double face, the GPS function on one side and the phone on the other.

Police anti-PDA in England

anti-PDAThe theme park Alton Towers has set up an operation to fight against the use of PDAs and other smartphones or PDAphones between 25 May and 1 June. They are often used to stay connect with the office. But the director of the Park has decided to ban their use so that parents are 100% with their children. MWg announces its future smartphones and pdaphones planned for 2008-2009

Last Thursday in London, the manufacturer MWg announced the launch of its two new (Atom V tested by Mobifrance and Zinc II). However, in the powerpoint presentation has slipped by mistake a roadmap with the presentation of 7 MWgsmartphones and pdaphones planned for the coming months.
The site Modaco filmed presentation and you can see the files of each aircraft. One of them might even be equipped with Windows Mobile. Mobifrance contacted the manufacturer MWg for more information. These products should not have been presented. For it is not certain that all these products are marketed, while others could be added to the roadmap. (more…)
