Will be released today, 19 March, at the App Store, one of the most promising titles on the mobile world: talk about Metal Gear Solid Touch.  Developed by Konami, a company that despite initial fears to a large expansion in the mobile field, a distance of a few short years since its debut has already done the spotlight toward him.  The game is based on Metal Gear Solid 4, a cousin to the last console generation, and other securities based on the same label, such as: Metal Gear Mobile for N-Gage, Metal Gear Acid 2.  The game includes 12 levels of play early, gradually expanded through downloadable updates.  What system will be used to download additional levels, yet it is not know, however, is likely to use the new In-App Purchase. The controls of the game, of course, will be intuitive and able to exploit the generous screen.  You download from App Store at a price of € 4.99.

While smartphones give a new visibility to mobile games, the new branch of console games Gameloft has missed its departure. The editor reduced the forecast growth in sales in 2008 to 15% instead of 25 to 30% previously. 

The mobile game is doing well but some initiatives are not expected results and forcing Gameloft, a larger business, to revise downwards its growth forecast for 2008. While everything seemed to go for the better in September, when the company planned to raise its turnover by 25 to 30% in 2008 and achieve an operating margin of 10 to 15%, ambitions are no longer the same.

In a statement, the publisher said it is now 15% growth in its turnover, or 110 million euros for an operating margin to exceed 3%. Costs incurred in R & D do not all sales on games consoles like the DS and Nintendo Wii are not up to expectations.
